Serves: 3 cups
  • 1 cup fine or medium bulgur
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • water
  1. Rinse and drain the bulgur.
  2. Bring 1 cup of water and salt to a boil in a heavy saucepan.
  3. Stir in the bulgur, cover, and remove from the heat.
  4. Leave the bulgur to steep, covered for 15 minutes.
  5. Drain off excess water, and fluff with a fork.
