August has arrived and if you’re in the Pomona- Upland area please stop by and visit the only Greek Festival in Southern California this month. Living in Upland while attending Cal Poly Pomona, I have wonderful memories of an artful community with live entertainment all weekend long. You have neighboring communities such as the Clairemont Colleges and the Mt. Baldy ski resort to visit while you’re in town. Stop by for a cold iced Frappe and stay awhile, as the Greek dancers entertain you throughout the evening. Grab a little lunch and dinner and enjoy sipping on Greece’s country drink ,ouzo !
