If you haven’t been to a Greek Festival lately grab the family and head out to any of these summer festivals! Throughout California you have many to choose from from Sunny San Diego to Beautiful San Luis Obispo.
All Greek festivals offer several exciting events throughout the weekend, so check their website for more information. The festival offers kid’s activities, plenty of traditional foods and drinks, and a dance presentation from the church dance groups.
This year St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in San Diego is celebrating 50 years of festivals. I remember as a child serving coffee with the GOYA with all my Greek friends. Here’s an memorable picture from the church archives you might enjoy seeing.
