Got Baklava?
I don’t know about you, but it’s time for a piece of honey-drenched nutty baklava, made by the local Greek Orthodox churches in our state! The booths are also brimming with meze appetizers, tasty gyro sandwiches, and warm phyllo wrapped treats. Whatever your taste buds are yearning for, drop by any of these Greek festivals this month for your favorite Greek picks.

Christos Anesti Mary!
I so enjoy your site and the warm and happy stories and recipes you share as a “Greek Girl”. My two children (adults!) are taking me to Greece in a few weeks to meet distant cousins, enjoy the beauty and history of the country and spend some time on Santorini. I feel very blessed! You may already know about the St. Paul’s (Irvine) Greek Festival being held on June 22, 23 and 24. All the info. can be found at irvinegreekfest.com That’s me with the blue apron during one of the food demos. Hope you can attend…OPA!
Me Agape,

Thank you so much for your support of our local Greek Festivals! If you have time, come on out to Anaheim this weekend–May 18-19-20. We’d love to see you at the 2012 OC Greek Fest!!
Memorial Day we’ll journey to Northridge, and June will find St. John’s fun seekers visiting Irvine and Downey for their festivals–then on to Redondo Beach in July. This weekend is just the beginning of a summer of good Greek fun in our California sun!
