Fresh Basil Pesto Sauce

Discover fresh basil pesto and add this fragrant sauce to any of your dishes.

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese or vegan cheese


  1. Place all the ingredients except the chees in a food processor or blender.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Place in a small bowl and stir in the cheese.

  4. Serve or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
