Top 10 Greek Pantry Items

This is a very simple Top 10 Pantry Items list that should be kept on hand at all times. With these staples you can make just about anything ”Greek” appear on your dinner table. Of course you’ll need your protein, fresh vegetables, and staples like bread, milk, flour, herbs…but I will cover those in future posts!  This is a due-able beginning towards cooking Greek!

Top 10 Greek Pantry Items

  1. Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  2. Can Tomatoes: sauce, whole tomatoes, paste

  3. Lentils, Bulgur, Rice

  4. Beans: gigantes, white beans, garbanzo

  5. Red Wine Vinegar

  6. Potatoes

  7. Onions

  8. Honey

  9. Nuts: walnuts, almonds

  10. Wine: Red, White, Ouzo, Brandy
